The restoration of Highfield Hall has been a remarkable community project characterized by great passion, extraordinary energy, and remarkable generosity. Although the bulk of the restoration is complete, fundraising must continue in order to support a $500,000 annual operating and maintenance budget, a $200,000 landscape restoration campaign, and a $5,000,000 endowment goal. The once abandoned and ramshackle mansion has taken on a vibrant new life as an historic site, museum, and center for arts and culture. The dream of ten year's ago -- that Highfield could be a home for the community -- has come true. But the support of the community is necessary to keep the dream alive for future generations.
