21 in Truro at Highfield
Join us for Historic Highfield's major fundraiser for 2008
as we welcome an outstanding group of Cape Cod artists to
Highfield Hall. Known as "21 in Truro," this unique
group of artists gathers every year in the seaside town of Truro to inspire and
motivate each other to generate their unique forms of artistic
expression. Additionally, this year some members of the
group are journeying to Cornwall, England to paint in Falmouth,
Truro and Penzance, while other members will be painting in
Falmouth and on Penzance Point here on Cape Cod.
Works created during the year by these outstanding artists,
will be on display, and for sale, in the Highfield galleries
throughout September and October. Fifty-percent of
the sales revenue will be donated to Historic Highfield, Inc.
for the ongoing operation and preservation of Highfield Hall. Additional
"21 in Truro" programs to be held in September and
October. A painting, donated by one of the "21" artists,
will be raffled off as well: raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for
$20 and are available September 6 - October 15, with the drawing
to be held on October 15.

Demonstrations - 21 in Truro
Join a select group of the "21" artists on the Highfield
grounds as they paint the inspirational landscape that surrounds
the mansion. Paintings produced by the artists will be available
for sale on that day, or hung in the gallery.

Tour & Luncheon with Suzanne M. Packer
Well-known Cape artist Suzanne M. Packer will lead a gallery tour of
the "21 in Truro" show to discuss the styles and
techniques of participating artists, as well as the inspiration
gained by painting on location. A luncheon will follow. Admission
