Barbara J. Milligan

Barbara Milligan arrived at Historic Highfield in early
2005. Hired as the organization's first full-time
Executive Director, Milligan has overseen a period of
intense restoration and renovation at Highfield Hall and
now leads the organization into its new life as a
center for arts and culture. Milligan has worked in the
field of historic site management for more than 20 years
and has served as the Executive Director of four
non-profit organizations. She holds a master's degree in
Public History from Indiana University.

Robert Wyatt 
Director of Music
Robert Wyatt recently joined the Highfield Hall staff as
the Director of Music. In this new role, Dr. Wyatt will
develop Highfield's Chamber Music Series and a
lecture/recital series, as well as oversee the planning
and scheduling of other music programs. Mr. Wyatt holds
three degrees in piano performance, studying with Bela
Nagy and completing his doctorate with the eminent
Hungarian pianist, Edward Kilenyi. He has also
served on the faculties of Boston University and The
Florida State University. Mr. Wyatt is a Steinway
Artist and a Smithsonian Institution Lecturer. |

Janet Totten

Deputy Director

Janet Totten has just joined our team as Deputy Director
in charge of Operations. Janet's purview includes
coordinating and supervising all function and program
activity at Highfield Hall -- a big job! Most recently,
Janet was the Director of Membership and Marketing at
the Falmouth Historical Society. She is also the
co-chair of the Falmouth Chamber's Tourism Committee and
a former board member of the Falmouth Service Center and
the Cape Cod Theater Project. |

Pat Maloney

Development and Marketing Manager
Pat recently joined our team as a volunteer working in
an important staff position. She has a background in
development and has worked at several cultural
institutions and museums including the Metropolitan
Museum of Art and The Lyme Academy of Fine Arts in Old Lyme,
Connecticut. |

Lisa Holmes

Chef-Director, Children's Culinary Academy
Lisa is the creator and visionary of the Children's
Culinary Academy at Highfield Hall. A graduate of the
Culinary Institute of America, Lisa is also a prolific
writer and has co-authored several cookbooks including
Lunch Lessons: Changing the Way We Feed Our Children. In
addition to teaching children of all ages in our
Children's Culinary Academy, Lisa is also leading adult
classes and demonstrations for all skill levels. |

Carole Dembkowski

Controller

Carole is our
accountant, but also manages our large database, credit
card transactions, and class registrations. Now retired from a
successful career with Boston Consulting Group, we were lucky
to attract Carole to Highfield Hall. |

Glenn Upton

Facility Manager

Glenn has lived on the
Highfield estate for the past ten years and served for
several years on the restoration crew. With his intimate
knowledge of the old building, and all of its new
systems, Glenn was the perfect choice to fill the role
of Highfield Hall's first Facility Manager. Glenn is in
charge of all building and grounds related issues
including maintenance of the historic structure and all
of its systems. |

Nancy Brink

Volunteer Coordinator

Brave Nancy was Historic Highfield's first office
volunteer -- back in a time when we were in active
construction and definitely could not provide
appropriate working conditions. Despite the dust and
noise, Nancy was determined to help and help she has.
She is now the Volunteer Coordinator (working in a
volunteer capacity) and as such is in charge of
scheduling volunteers for the front desk and other activities. |
