Barbara Milligan arrived at Historic Highfield in
early 2005. Hired as the organization's first full-time
Executive Director, Milligan supervised a period of
intense restoration and renovation at Highfield Hall
and led the organization into its new life as welcoming
home for cultural and community life. Milligan has
worked for historical societies and museums for more
than 20 years and has served as the Executive Director
of four non-profit organizations. She holds a master's
degree in Public History from Indiana University and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive. |

Robert Wyatt

Robert Wyatt is Highfield Hall's Director of Music.
In this role, Dr. Wyatt has developed Highfield's Music
at the Mansion program which includes the Salon Series,
Sampler Series, and the Emerging Artist Series in cooperation
with the New England Conservatory of Music. Mr. Wyatt holds
three degrees in piano performance, studying with Bela
Nagy and completing his doctorate with the eminent
Hungarian pianist, Edward Kilenyi. He has also served
on the faculties of Boston University and The Florida
State University. Mr. Wyatt is a Steinway Artist and
a Smithsonian Institution Lecturer. |

Janet Totten is Highfield Hall's Deputy Director in charge of Operations.
Janet's purview includes coordinating and supervising all private
and community functions, as well as organizing and scheduling programs
and supervising volunteers. Janet came to Highfield from the Falmouth
Historical Society where she managed marketing and membership. |

Pat joined Highfield Hall in 2006 as a volunteer and
quickly became a pivotal member of our team. She has
a background in development and marketing and has worked
at several cultural institutions and museums including
the Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Lyme Academy
of Fine Arts in Old Lyme, Connecticut. |

Carole is our accountant, but also manages our large
database, credit card transactions, and class registrations.
Now retired from a successful career with Boston Consulting
Group, we were lucky to attract Carole to Highfield
Hall. Carole is also an enthusiastic cook and helps
with many of our culinary classes and demonstrations. |

Glenn Upton
Facility Manager

Glenn has lived on
the Highfield estate for the past ten years and served
for several years on the restoration crew. With his
intimate knowledge of the mansion, and all of its new
systems, Glenn was the perfect choice to fill the role
of Highfield Hall's first Facility Manager. Glenn is
in charge of all building and grounds related issues
including maintenance of the historic structure and
all of its systems. |

Joanne Skudder, one of our dynamite volunteers, has now joined our staff on an interim basis as our Administrator. Joanne manages all of the concert, class, and event registrations for us, oversees management of the front desk and visitation, and provides administrative support for the entire staff. |

Suzanne is a new member of the Highfield Hall staff. She brings her expertise in database management, along with experience in event management, retail, and education. Suzanne handles all of our donor records and assists with general development tasks. Most recently, Suzanne was the Development Officer for the Penikese Island School. |

Carolyn Tarr
House Manager
Carolyn provides the staff presence for community meetings, private parties, and weddings. In her third year with Highfield Hall, Carolyn has become a huge asset to the Highfield team and her face is well known to those who attend evening and weekend activities at the mansion. Brides and grooms know that they are in very capable hands when Carolyn is in the building. |
